We are committed to making our site user-friendly for all people, whatever their age, abilities or disabilities.
Accessibility is the term used to describe how a product, service or place can be easily used by as many people as possible. Accessibility is about making things usable to all people, whatever their age, ability or disability.
As a government entity, we are required to ensure our website complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (known as WCAG 2.0).
Our website includes a number of portable document format (PDF) files, audio files and video. While we aim to provide information in equally accessible formats, some resources can only be provided efficiently as PDF files.
At Federation Council, we know all members of our community have the right to access the same information and same opportunities to be involved in our engagement, meetings and events.
Communication Boards are available at all of Council’s Customer Service Offices to allow for a varied communication method. The boards utilise symbols and images to help customers communicate what services they require assistance with.
