Request a Letter of Support
Federation Council is committed to supporting the community to achieve funding via grants programs. In order to deliver on objectives and priorities each year, Council understands that community groups and/or businesses require intermittent financial support and injections, and that the process of achieving funding support can be difficult. Council receives many requests for letters of support each year and where such requests align with Council's strategic and operational objectives, it is committed to supporting each appropriate application.
Please note the following about your request for a letter of support from Federation Council:
- if your request is received less than 14 days prior to the required date, Council reserves the right not to provide a Letter of Support.
- if your request does not align with Council's strategic and/or operational objectives, Council reserves the right not to provide a Letter of Support.
- if your request does not provide adequate information to compose a letter of support, Council reserves the right not to provide a Letter of Support.
- if your application does not contain the required documentation as outlined by the grant guidelines, for example, a Development Application to be completed prior to application, Council reserves the right not to provide a Letter of Support.
It should also be noted that some grant applications will be for open competitive funds that will include applications from Federation Council.
Do you need land/asset owner consent to proceed with your grant application?
Please note that a letter of support from Council does not constitute land/asset owner consent. If you require land/asset owner consent from Council for a grant application please contact Council to receive consent prior to lodging your request for a letter of support.
