Federation Animal Management Facility
The Federation Animal Management Facility is located in Corowa and safely houses lost pets (dogs and cats) until they can be reunited with their owner.
Council Rangers monitor the facility daily which is cleaned and maintained regularly. Lost pets are cared for with provision of a safe and secure enclosure with shelter from the weather, bedding, food and water.
If lost pets are not claimed or cannot be reunited with their owners, Rangers work with rehoming organisations for animals that can be successfully placed with new homes.
Pet owners will need to attend the Corowa Federation Council office prior to your companion animal being released from the Federation Animal Management Facility.
Under the NSW legislation, all pets must be microchipped and registered prior to being released from the pound.
