2024 - 2025 Special Rate Variation Project - Council thanks residents

Federation Council would like to thank residents who attended and participated in the 2024-2025 Special Rate Variation (SRV) Community Meetings and Listening Posts that were held over the last few weeks.
Council staff were in attendance at four in person listening posts andsix in person community meetings, as well as one online community meeting.
Federation Council plans to apply to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) for a permanent SRV for the 2025-26 year. A special rate variation allows Council to increase total rates by more than the annual IPART rate cap.
