Published on 25 June 2019
Federation Council has released a new 32 lot Estate at the Mulwala Business Park to meet the ongoing demand for industrial land within the region.
With competitive land prices, the Mulwala Business Park provides the opportunity for new business start-up or business relocation. The region is easily accessible via road, rail or air with easy access to main Highway connections to both Melbourne and Sydney, and the proposed Melbourne-Brisbane Inland Rail Corridor.
The region provides exceptional lifestyle opportunity along with key digital technology infrastructure to enable businesses to access and compete globally. The National Broadband Network is available throughout the region which provides business with a fast and reliable broadband connection.
Federation Council Mayor, Cr Pat Bourke said, “Council is committed to supporting business and economic growth and investment in the region and has opened up this next stage of the Business Park, to meet ongoing demand.”
“The Business Park is located alongside Tocumwal Road in Mulwala and the new stage covers an area of approximately 80,000m2. It provides variable sized blocks which are serviced by water, sewer, electricity and telco (NBN). The land is zoned IN1 in accordance with Council’s Planning Scheme which provides for a large number of possible uses including Manufacturing and Warehouse Door Sales.”
The initial demand has been high with currently 17,000 M2 being under Conditional Contracts of Sale. The Lots vary in size from 7761m2 to 1182m2 and are currently priced at $58.00 m2 plus GST. Final construction works in this stage are estimated to be completed by the first quarter of 2019/2020.
“Council will continue to remain focussed on economic development throughout the region to help build a strong and vibrant business sector and sustainable community. Council was fortunate to gain $665,000 in Federal Government funding towards this project in June 2016, and also contributed its own significant additional funds to make this new stage a reality. Congratulations to staff and contractors on this great result.” he said.
