Australia Day Public Holiday Closures

Federation Council services and offices will have altered operating hours for the Australia Day public holiday scheduled on Monday 27 January 2025.

Corowa Council Office

Close 5pm, Friday 24 January and re-open 8:30am, Tuesday 28 January 2025.

Corowa & Urana Works Depot

Close 4pm, Friday 24 January and re-open 7am, Tuesday 28 January 2025.

Urana Council Office

Close 4:30pm, Friday 24 January and re-open 9am, Tuesday 28 January 2025.

Corowa Service NSW Agency

Close 4:30pm, Friday 24 January and re-open 9:30am, Tuesday 28 January 2025.

Corowa, Howlong & Mulwala Libraries

Close 12pm, Saturday 25 January and re-open 10am, Tuesday 28 January 2025.

Corowa Visitor Information Centre (VIC)

Open Sunday 26 January and closed Monday 27 January, 2025 as per normal operating hours. Visit the North of the Murray website.

Corowa Aquatic Centre

Open all weekend 8am - 6pm including Monday 27 January, 10am – 6pm.

Waste & Recycling Facilities

All Council's waste facilities will be closed on Monday 27 January as per normal operating hours.

If your kerbside bins are scheduled to be collected on Friday, please ensure bins are placed outside the night before as collection may be earlier than usual.

Federation Council invites you to come along and celebrate Australia Day at the Federation Council’s Day Awards Ceremony at Lowe Square Howlong on Sunday  26th January. The ceremony will commence at 10am. Find out more.
