CCTV Inspection of Sewer Mains at Corowa

Federation Council will be commencing CCTV Inspection of Sewer Mains throughout the Corowa Township.

Inspections will commence in June 2021 and continue until the end of August 2021.

Underground Engineering Solutions Pty Ltd (UES) will be conducting the high pressure water jetter cleaning and CCTV inspection.

The purpose of this work is to identify defects in the existing sewer system and allow repairs such as relining to be programmed. This work is part of an annual program that will extend to other townships throughout the Federation Council area in the future.

Some residents may experience an increase in noise, vehicle movements and odour from sewer mains while work is being carried out. Council appreciates the impacts that this work may have on surrounding residents; therefore every effort will be made to minimise these impacts.

Working hours from Monday to Friday are 7am to 5pm and 7am to 4pm on Saturdays.

UES do not need to enter your house and you do not need to be home while this work is carried out, however UES may need to access your property where sewer access chambers are located in backyards. If access is required then you will be notified through another notice from UES’s Cleaning Crew.
