Changed overnight traffic conditions on Melbourne Street at Mulwala

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next week on Melbourne Street at Mulwala for road surface testing.

Work involves testing on both lanes using a slowly moving truck between Bayly Street and Savernake Road, to help evaluate road layers for future work.

To limit the impact on motorists, work will be carried out between 6pm and 6am on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 November, weather permitting.

One lane will be closed during the work, with road users guided through the work area by traffic control. Road shoulders and parking will be closed and reduced speed limits will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Parking restrictions will also apply along Melbourne Street.

Motorists are advised to plan their trip, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
