Federation Council has condemned the actions of self-proclaimed neo-Nazi protestors who took to the streets of Corowa on Saturday, October 12 to conduct a public demonstration.

"These people are not representative of Corowa, or any of our other Federation Council communities," the Council spokesperson said.
"We are a welcoming multicultural region and are deeply concerned by the display and conduct of protestors. Council will continue to stand proudly with all members of our community and reject any forms of discrimination and vilification including such extreme racism examples”.

“The incitement of hate in any form is simply unacceptable and as shown by our community members yesterday who came together in large numbers to ask the protest group to leave Corowa, this type of divisive behavior will not be tolerated here in Corowa or the wider Federation region."

NSW Police continue to investigate the matter and anyone with information to assist with their investigation is encouraged to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
