Federation Council to launch new procurement platform
Published on 01 September 2020
Federation Council will soon be implementing a system that will enable full visibility over their go-to-market activity, including all communication between the buyer and suppliers that submit quotes.
The platform will enable both the procurement team and operational staff to achieve better procurement outcomes by providing full oversight for good governance and a structured, compliant Request for Quotation process for buyers.
Businesses quoting on work with Federation Council will be positively impacted by the change with free access to the platform and mobile app. For suppliers, VendorPanel has well developed functionality to assist them to better manage their quotes and save time in the process. They can be assured that the buyers they’re engaging with are following best practise and that their submissions are fairly reviewed.
Federation Council Mayor Pat Bourke said Council was looking forward to implementing the new procurement platform.
“The implementation of the new VendorPanel platform will ensure that Council continues to be an industry leader when it comes to good procurement practices,” Mayor Bourke said.
“This platform will ensure that all businesses in the local region will have access to the services and supplies Council needs to deliver its services and provide them with the opportunity to register for free and highlight their businesses services and/or products.”
