It’s time for you to grab your pet, and all their friends, and join us for a PAW-some day out at our FREE Microchipping Day!
Federation Council Mayor, Councillor Patrick Bourke said, on Saturday 16 March, Council will host two events firstly in Oaklands from 9am – 11am and Urana 12pm – 2pm.
“Not only will your dog and/or cat receive FREE microchipping (if they're 4 months or older), but they'll also enjoy complimentary registration checks. It's a no-brainer for your pet's safety and your peace of mind!”
“To keep you and your fur babies energized, we're firing up the grill for a FREE sausage sizzle, with special treats for your four-legged pals.”

Microchipping is a quick and harmless procedure where a small microchip is inserted between your pet's shoulder blades. Microchipping provides identification only for your animal. You must register your dog by 6 months and cats by 4 months of age.
If your microchipped pet goes astray and is taken to a vet, pound or shelter, we use the microchip's data to contact you and quickly reunite you with your pet.
Our fury friends are so important in our lives, so this is a great opportunity to ensure your pet is microchipped so if it does go astray we can return it safely to you.
