Transport for NSW has advised it will be performing rehabilitation work on the Mulwala Bridge to ensure it remains safe and operational.
Maintenance work is scheduled to commence from Monday 16 October and is expected to finish in late December 2023, weather permitting. Work hours are planned to be 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
The car park on the NSW side of the bridge will be used as a site compound for the duration of the project. During this time, the car park will be closed to the community.
Majority of the work will be carried out from underneath the bridge with no disruptions to traffic, however there will be some single lane closures towards the end of the work as well as during routine maintenance and bridge inspections which have to be performed on the bridge deck.
