Notice of road works - Whitehead Street Corowa

Federation Council advises that road works are scheduled to occur on Whitehead Street Corowa (between Bullecourt Road and Lachlans Lane heading towards the Riverina Highway) from Tuesday 14 January 2025 for a two week period, subject to favorable weather conditions.

This work involves road pavement stabilisation and bitumen sealing.

To safely facilitate these works, speed and lane restrictions will be in place. Motorists are advised they may experience some traffic delays of 3 to 5 minutes and requested to observe traffic/road signage and take extra care when travelling near the area. Every effort will be made to minimise the impact of works on local residents during this time.

In some cases, temporary access to resident driveway may be limited, or only be available from either the North or South limits of construction. Impacted residents will be notified when these restrictions are in place and alternative arrangements will be coordinated by the traffic controllers on site.
