Federation Youth Councillors are excited to announce they are holding a disco at the Memorial Hall in Corowa on Thursday 31 October 2024 with the theme being “Halloween.” This event is free for ages 11 – 17 years and doors will open at 7 pm.
The Youth Councillors are encouraging everyone to come along as part of Halloween in Corowa, “Make sure you and your gourd-geous friends hit the dance floor with DJ Hilly and capture some fun photos at the photo-booth in the Chillin like a Villain space. Grab some fang-tastic food and pick up some of the skele-ton of giveaways.”
Before the disco, there will be a Halloween Party from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. This event is a free family friendly event with each child receiving a bag of lollies. games to participate in, face painting, and a costume competition. Youth Mayor, Ella Webb said, “Dress up and enter the Boo-tiful Pageant. It starts at 6 pm, and is free to enter with prizes on offer for the best overall, scariest, cutest, most original, and group.”
There will be Halloweenie Hot Dogs, Witch Finger Chips, and Spookacular Sodas for sale, run by Quirky Events. The events will be supervised, there will be no pass-outs and it will be drug, alcohol, smoke, and vape-free. Proudly funded by the NSW Government.
